Animas River

Join us for a family friendly float down the Animas River through Farmington, New Mexico.

The Animas River

is a free-flowing stream that originates high in the San Juan Mountains flowing south from Silverton, Colorado, through Durango and eventually making the confluence with the San Juan River in Farmington, New Mexico.

We offer different trip options depending on the amount of time you have to enjoy the river.

Our two-hour and half-day trips start at Penny Lane on the edge of Farmington city limits and gently wind through town passing through large cottonwood groves and family fun class 1 & 2 rapids in the beautiful Berg Park.

Full day trips begin in Aztec, New Mexico and include a guide-made deli lunch on the side of the river, eventually making the way down to Farmington and through Berg Park and the rapids.

We also offer a shorter trip (approximately 45 minutes) that floats exclusively through Berg Park.

All options take out right across the street from our headquarters, located near downtown Farmington.
